Krumping (also clown dancing or clowning) is a style of dance that originated in the African-American community of South Central Los Angeles. It involves elaborate face-painting and freestyle dance moves usually performed in competition with other crews. The hottest street dance since Break Dancing.
Krumping has been featured in music videos such as Missy Elliott's "I'm Really Hot", The Black Eyed Peas "Hey Mama" and Outkast. Painting is almost as important to krumping as the dance moves themselves.
What began as a bet turned into the Battle of the Century!
Witness the ultimate dance-off between two generations of dancers. The five best break-dancers, including Shaba Doo, star of Breakin' go head to head with the five original founders of Krumping.
